Run Rehab

Whether you're a recreational runner or an ultra marathoner, an injury can be emotionally and physically taxing, especially when you have a race date looming. Mobilized Physical Therapy specializes in diagnosing and treating running-related injuries, ensuring you can get back to training with minimal delay or simply get back to joys of running.

Running Gait Analysis

Gait simply means the mechanics of walking/running. Rear and side views of your gait will tell us possible causes of pain. This is only one piece of the puzzle. The analysis along with your mechanism of injury, run history, and physical evaluation will assist us in creating a plan of care to rid your pain and get you back to running as soon as possible.

YOU HAVE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE TO HAVE YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED!

How can Mobilized Physical Therapy Help?

Our comprehensive rehabilitation program consist of the following components: Restore, Rebuild, Re-Educate.  We use this to help individuals return back to running to their full potential.

Restore

Restoring normal joint mobility and muscle flexibility is crucial for ensuring you can run with full range of motion. Tightness in the joints and muscles can lead to repetitive tension, friction, and altered running mechanics, often resulting in pain. For instance, tight hip flexors can shorten your stride, arch your lower back, and contribute to pain in either of these areas.

Rebuild

Rebuilding muscles to the necessary strength and endurance levels is essential for enabling your body to withstand the demands of running, including distance, time, terrain, elevation changes, and repetitive ground reaction forces. Through our Run Analysis and physical examination, we can identify any deficits and tailor our approach to address them effectively, helping you achieve your running goals.

Re-Educate

Good mobility, flexibility, and strength are crucial components, but they're not sufficient without finely tuned neuromuscular system—the connection between mind, body, and muscles. In essence, it's about how effectively your entire body responds to the ground forces, uneven terrain, and elevation the moment your foot makes contact. This training approach encompasses every aspect from head to toe, ensuring optimal performance and injury prevention.
